About Fen Family Kitchen
As a food-lover diagnosed with coeliac disease in my early thirties, I've made it my mission to make my gluten-free baking as delicious as possible. A trip to Modern Bread and Bagel, an entirely gluten-free bakery/deli in New York, gave me the inspiration to push my baking boundaries. Having trained at The Artisan Bakery School in Devon, I've created a small, hand-baked offer for my local gluten-free community that's a world away from the processed, uninspiring items lining the 'free-from' supermarket shelves.
I use high-quality and, wherever possible, organic ingredients, to craft my artisan bakes. I test out all my bakes on my non-coeliac family to ensure that they pass their rigorous 'taste test'!
As a coeliac, I understand the importance of sourcing gluten-free base ingredients and of ensuring there's no cross-contamination in the kitchen.
